Tybee Island is Savannah’s beach.  Perched on the brink of the Atlantic Ocean, Tybee offers fishermen some of the best off-shore fishing.  For the kid in us all, you can watch the dolphins frolic in the surf on one of the island’s many dolphin tours.  Kayak among the marsh grasses and see the coastal fowls that are inhabitants of the Southern Low Country or just stroll Savannah’s squares or Tybee’s beach and enjoy Savannah’s year-round mild climate.
